History about the original image from Wikipedia:
The original painting, known as “Madonnina” or “Madonna of the Streets,” was created by Roberto Ferruzzi in the 1890s. It depicts the Blessed Virgin Mary holding the Infant Jesus, inspired by a young girl named Angelina Cian and her baby brother. The painting was first exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1897 and quickly became a symbol of the Madonna and Child. Despite its popularity, the original painting’s whereabouts remain unknown, with some speculation suggesting it may have entered a private art collection in Pennsylvania or been lost at sea. Ferruzzi’s original work has been widely reproduced and is often featured on holy cards, framed portraits, and greeting cards.
